Friend Makin' Monday

yep, it's monday again!
today kasey has asked us to share 10 things we can't live without.
you know, friend to friend advice...
if you'd like to share 10 of your favorite things, go here.

here's mine...

1. gold canyon candles. they are a constant must in my home. i love the baking line and so does everyone who comes over. it's something my kids will remember when there grown up...the smell of their childhood.

2. these kitchenaid mixing bowls...there have been many times that i've needed to bake or prepare dinner with a very fussy baby who refuses to be let down. i can hold the baby in one hand and mix in the other. they have a rubber bottom that holds it in place. i love them!

3. fantastic sams shampoo & conditioner. i've used both the daily and color care shampoo & conditioner and i love it!!! (thanks doug...) i've used a ton of different products and this one makes my hair happy.
4. the fhi straightner. i actually bought this for my oldest daughter and i love it. we fight over it. i'm going to be very sad when she moves and takes it with her :(

5. (for the quilters out there) i couldn't live without this stuff. the yli quilting thread. i use it for applique, for binding, for wool applique...i love it!

6. shout color catchers are THE BEST...they have saved me and my clothes from disaster!

7. arbonne's eye cream. i've used arbonne's eye cream for probably 13 years now and i still think it's the best. actually, all the arbonne products are pretty darn good!

8. russell stover's sugar free chocolates. they really are yummy and they are atkins friendly!
9. a high-shine lip gloss is a must...but one that lasts, that's hard to find...any suggestions???

10. tall black boots are a must! i love them and they are great on those days that i have "prickly legs".

that's all folks. i hope you have a great week!

take care!

I'm loving all of these things that people are sharing for FMM. I might just find some new stuff to try out! Those Kitchen Aid bowls sound awesome and I'm thinking it's high time to get me a hair straightener!

Hope you had a good weekend!

Julie, I love your ten things! I am a great candle lover myself!! I love the Lily-Flame Candles that they make over here in the UK. They're absolutely lovely!

I too am a candle lover! My daughter's friends even mention how "homey" our home smells. And I also have little spats over hair products I buy for them and then find I enjoy using also. They get over it! Ha, ha! Thanks for sharing!

I need to find those bowls!!!! as for the hi-shine lip color...try The Body Shop's hi shine lip treatment...it smells like passionfruit and is really thick and shiney so if you don't lick your lips it stays on quite a while.

Tall boots? I can't imagine you wearing those in your climate? Those KA bowls look very cool -- thanks for the recommendation.

Love black boots too(as if you couldn't tell), Shout Color Catchers, FS shampoo and cond(Doug is going to be so honored that you included that), and wonderful smells from my childhood(especially the baking smells like your great candles). I always love to read these lists that you make. I want to try the Arbonne eye cream sometime. I'm always looking. I have one that I like pretty well, but I'm always open for something new and better.

I've been looking for a good eye cream! I just might have to check this one out! thanks for sharing!

How long have you quilted? A lady in my town quilted a blanket for my little girl and I just know that it will be one of those keepsakes that she can have and love forever!

Hey Julie! Great list! I've never tried the Gold Canyon Candles. How do the compare to the Yankee Candles? You mention several things I haven't tried before.

Oooh the shout color catchers are fab! Love them. I use them anytime I put red in the wash! I use the same one twice...it works for me!

What does the Arbonne's eye cream do? I'm in need of a good one that does...oh everything!

Have a blessed day!

What a wonderful list.
I so agree with you on the candles. I love a great smelling candle. My favorite is Yankee fresh cut roses. I can't spend a without my black and brown boots. For both the days your forget to shave and those days you just need to be a little taller.
I hope you have had a blessed Monday!
