Do You Decorate

for st. patricks day?
i never did until my baby boy was born on st. patricks day last year and now i have this itch...
i just found this quilt tutorial from kim over at kim's big quilting adventure and had to share it with you. you might even be able to get it done before the big day!!! here's a picture of her blocks without the sashing and border.

and here's her small version of the quilt with the ribbon sashing.
hmmm...the wheels are a turnin'.

and while we are on the subject of quilts and st patricks day, i had my quilt class last night and made these cupcakes. i hope my class isn't getting tired of cupcakes, i just LOVE the endless possibilities!!!

i made up a small project in honor of the holiday that i'll post later.
but before i go, have you tried the mint hersey kisses???

OH MY GOSH. YUM!!!

hope your having a good weekend...
love,

I don't decorate for St. Patricks Day but it seems to be catching on.
Love the way you've decorated your cupcakes.

I love that quilt! I remember as a child I always had to wear something green on St Patricks Day, although we didn't decorate the house and we weren't Irish in any way! I don't decorate but I will probably cook something green in honor of the day! Perhaps even some cupcakes! Yours look wonderful! Well decorated. I bet everyone really enjoyed them!

I barely even recognize St. Patricks day with the requred corned beef & cabbage dinner. I'm boring like that.

Your cupcakes are so cute!!!

I don't decorate for St. Patrick's day. But I am proud to say that this weekend I did get all my snowmen stuff down and the spring decorations up. So I am ready for all things spring. Oh, I love the cupcakes, how they look so tasty and creative. Have a blessed day!

Is it really possible for someone to get tired of cupcakes?---especially BEAUTIFUL cupcakes. I brought mine home to share with Nicole who LOVED it. Doug came home from church talking about how BOB had the best Hershey Kisses...mint ones. He loved them.:)
I love the little clovers. What a cute quilt. I love it!
