Calico Dishes & Hello...

well hello!

remember me?

i've been getting harassed about not posting, 

so here i am.

hi roxanne! hi leticia! 

hi everyone else...love you!

i realize that i have been telling you to 

study your scriptures since OCTOBER! 

yikes. i hope you listened! hehe

i thought that while i try to catch up with the 

remainder of last year i'd share my

calico dish collection with you.  

my step-mom entrusted me with it. 

i LOVE it and her.

and she likes that it's loved and 

out for her to visit when she comes over.

ok. so. i made this quilt and taught it at fat quarters.

it was rightfully named calico dishes.

(see the red block...oh how i would lOOOVE red calico dishes...)

here they are displayed in the hoosier that my dad 

restored when i was little.

my mom gave it to me.

i'm soooo lucky. i know.

and here i used the calico tins 

at our food table. 

the blueberry cupcakes were yummy

and went along nicely with my theme.

Midnight Madness

February's Midnight Madness class
was this super cute birdhouse quilt.

the midnight madness class has gotten too big so we opened up a mini madness that is the first saturday of each month. i teach the same quilt, make the same gifts, food and desserts!

Mini Madness {Take One}

saturday was our first ever {MINI} madness
it's the exact same class as the previous {midnight} madness but only goes to ten.
which for many, is an added bonus!

as you can see, the {goods} are the same.



the gals are different {unique!, not different} :)

and the sharing is fabulous!

loved the class. loved the gals.
only one negative...
i get there early to set up before the gang shows up and while i was out shopping
some bonehead STOLE one of the gifts i had set out for the gals.
RUDE!!! i really can't believe people these days!

Pajama Party!

this months midnight madness class
was a pajama party
and as you saw in the prior post...
things got alittle crazy!

this was the quilt we made
an oldy from joined at the hip.

This & That

i didn't share this month's monday's best class...

i taught cheri's checkerboard heart quilt

and in the spirit of {hearts} i made these cupcakes

and gave a little pouch of button pins to everyone.
