'FMM' & A Cherry Basket Give Away!!!

Scroll Down for the Give Away...
kasey from all that is good has posed quite the question for our friend makin' monday.
here it is:
If you had $1000 dollars, and a baby sitter for a period of 24 hours what would you do?
i'll give you 'bob's' answer first.
he'd give the sitter $300, tell her she could go home and he'd take the kids & i to disneyland.
here's mine...
(this is a hard one for me...hmmm...thinking)
i would send the kids to a babysitter and hire someone to come clean my house. then i would hire a gardner to come pretty up my backyard so it looked like this.

then i'd rent my favorite car

and hit all the quilt shops starting here

and working my way up.
once my shop hop was complete, i'd head on home, meet 'bob' for dinner, come home relax in my nice clean house and get a full nights sleep (which, i DeSperAtelY need) and pick the kids up in the morning.
that was nice...thanks kasey for letting me dream for a moment!
now on to the giveaway...

yep...i'm givin' it away (the quilt, i mean) to one lucky winner.

here's how to win.

leave me a comment and let me know who sent ya! the give away will end friday, march 6th, at 9 pm. i will pick (rather the little princess will pick) a random winner on saturday morning and we will post the winner by noon!!! one lucky winner will win this 'cherry basket' quilt, in honor of jodi from simply this, that, and the other. she is SuPer nice to feature my blog this week! thanks jodi. if you have any ?'s, email me and please don't forget to let me know who sent you so that i can properly 'thank' them as well.

i want to just take a minute and tell you all how much i LoVe that you visit and leave such nice comments. i LoVe that many of my friends and family stop by each day to see what's goin' on at the isa house (you guys are GrEaT!). i LoVe that fudgie feels closer than she is and that i can harrass her by leaving comments on her blog. i LoVe that i can share a little of my world with you and hopefully, you can be inspired by something i've said or done.

have a great day!!!

(desert post coming soon! 'bob' wrestled a marine, cut up his foot and became a plastic surgeon, all in one day!!!)

What a wonderful blog and give away.
I got here by way of Simply This That and the Other Thing. I have so many quilting blogs bookmarked and just keep adding more.

Love how you would spend 1000 dollars. I too would go to some quilt shops. We have very few around here so maybe I would have money left over. LOL

HI; I just found you via Jodi. please enter me for the bee-yoo-tee-ful quilt! I like your ideas for the $1,000 - sounds like a fine day indeed.

I found you through Jodi too.... but I'll be putting a link to your blog on mine right away! Enjoyed the $1000 question, I don't need a babysitter (my youngest is 12) so I'd pay the sitter & send her home too. Probably would fly to AZ to visit my college daughter for the day (& yes, I'd hit the quilt stores while I was there!)
