What'cha Doin' Wednesday

today was the joseph smith quilt class here at home.

this month's block is titled brightness & glory. it represents God, the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. i gave bright yellow candles to symbolize the light of Christ.

the class learned to make flying geese and 1/2 square triangles.

joy was the only one who left with a block completed! OH joy!

I love seeing Joy, I'm not surprised, she does everything fast, and i have to say making the Joseph smith quilt was one of my favorite quilting adventures. I love it.

Joy's block looks great. I love how you gave them a candle, what a thoughtful way to share God's love.
Have a blessed Thursday!

Thank you!! I feel so lucky to be a part of this class---although I'm so scared of this block. I was scared of the first one too, but after awhile it wasn't so bad. I put the first blocks all together last night(the way they're going to look in the quilt) and am so excited.
