Friend Makin' Monday

Kasey from all that is good started friend makin' mondays as a way to get to know one another. every monday, there is a new task that we must complete. this week we have been asked to answer the following questions. if you want to play, go visit kasey and sign up.
here goes...

1) My favorite book is: miss jumps farewell, probably not what you were expecting...i'm not much a reader i have a hard enough time keeping up with my scripture study. i do love this book...yes it's a quilting book, but she shares recipes, stories and it has great old pictures that i love!

2) I drive a: mini van. i have to tell you, i never dreamed i'd be driving a mini van. at some point in life, practicality sets in.

3) My favorite type of food to eat is: probably italian

4) My favorite dessert is: strawberry, angel food cake trifle...yumm

5) My favorite movie is: i don't really have a favorite movie. i must admit, i don't watch too many movies, unless the kids have it on. i don't watch sad movies, ever and anything with animals in it, i'll check out first. (p.s. what about marly...glad i asked!)

6) When I go to Starbucks I get a: boy, i'm batting zero. i only go to starbucks during christmas to get the peppermint hot chocolate. yum!

7) My favorite vegetable is: definitely artichokes!

8) My favorite thing to wear is: my old navy velour sweat suit. i have many and my oldest keeps threatening to write stacey & clinton from what not to wear!

9) My favorite color is: red! love it...i can decorate for almost every holiday with red. practical & pretty.

10) I decorate my house in this style: country. i do vary though. during the winter i like a more primitive country look and then as spring roles around i like the more cheery cottage colors.

11) Right now I am reading: despereaux to my youngest daughter for our bedtime book. i usually read chapter books at bedtime, they enjoy the suspense and they stay interested and excited. the kids always are looking forward to bedtime.
12) If I could vacation anywhere I would go to: my husband and i used to talk about traveling the different "bass lakes" (bob wanted to become a pro-fessional bass fisherman...) he would fish all day while i stayed back at the cabin quilting...oh, how i would LOVE to do that!

Hi Julie --

I loved your list! I love the Starbucks mint hot cocoa too. Trifle is delicious. I usually make it for Christmas Eve.

Thanks for the heads up about my link. I went back to Kasey's and put the correct one in. Hopefully people will be able to come over.

Have a great day!

Jen

I am coming over from Kasey's. I am with you on reading books, I don't have much time either. I will have to get the Cotton and Wool book for my mom as she loves to read and quilt. Your blog is super cute.
