it all started weeks ago when the little princess informed me that she was having a 'doll party' at aunties...
a doll party that sooned turned into outings with auntie, phone calls with auntie and lists {lots and lots of lists!}
below are a couple of the lists that she made.
the first one was the very first list she made of the things she wanted at her party and the second is a list she recently made of the things that i needed to gather to give to auntie...

after school yesterday, we gathered her things. the quilts she insisted on, her favorite dress and the game board she made and i took her to aunties. i was told to pick her up and come to the party at 2 o 'clock today.

when i arrived i was greeted by several close friends and family members and of course a VERY happy girl who surprised me with a baby shower planned by her with help from her auntie!

it was everything she had been talking about!
everything was decorated with pink and purple. there were crepe paper streamers, baby bottles with pink roses, a fruit pizza, strawberries, and the CUTEST hand made {by her} onesies ever!
i especially LOVE the one that says ' I LOVE ME'.

my sister did a GREAT job at listening and letting her be the one to plan this. she gets HUGE credit for being such a GREAT sport through all of this and i laugh at what she must have been thinking. i am GRATEFUL that she took the time to do this for me and to let the little princess feel so special! thanks a TON suz!!!

i must take a moment and share the baby shower game with you.
by her own doing, the little princess found the top of an old night stand that we had and turned it into a game board.
4 people could play and the object of the game was to get the baby bottle to the crying baby first. the game board was a bit wobbly but no one seemed to mind, the creativity was all that mattered!

and one last note to my sister...
really, thanks SO much! i LOVED the invitations and the shower favors {yum} and SUPER cute! thank you for all the time you spent making all of masyn's ideas come to life and thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it a special day for BOTH of us! it will never be forgotten!!! i LOVE you!
