can be a tough one.
i thought i'd share a couple with you that i have done more recently...
this is 2 flower blocks from cheri's 'plaid flowers' pattern.
i adapted it to fit into a 11 x 14 frame
i had a friend make me a saying with her vinyl lettering machine
that could read
"if teachers were flowers, i'd pick you"

this was a hit.
i had the little princess draw a picture for her teacher and then i stitched it and made this pillow.

Terrific ideas...LOVE the vinyl lettering on the framed quilt...so many possibilities!
Both teacher gifts are lovely. I love the flower blocks in the whilte frame and the red work pillow is so cute. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful! Since I am a teacher, I would love either gift. Thank you for sharing!
Julie, those are so cute! I'm sure the teachers will love those. I'm going to have to figure out where I can use your vinyl lettering idea.
ohhhhhhhhhh so cute!
Oh what wonderful gifts!
Very cute and creative.
Those are so-o-o cute, clever, and adorable! I only wish I had thought of them 10 years ago! My son is 22 years old, but, they will be great for any future grandchildren's teachers, especially if both of their parents have to work. I really do enjoy your blog!
Regards,
Pam
