What'cha Doin' ' Wednesday

four years ago today, our family was sealed in the temple. it was an amazing experience for each of us. bob is out of town this week, so we didn't celebrate in typical fashion. instead, we went about our day as any other.

i finished quilting this quilt for diane

and i almost got this one done for cheryl

both were quilted with a smallish stipple.

i also got some cleaning/organizing done and found this that i thought i'd share with you.
sissy has danced for years and a couple years ago, i finally got smart and put together this recital box.

i filled it with everything we needed for a day at the theatre. aspirin and some spare change included...
it was a hit with the moms and everyone got some use out of it. i wish i had thought of it sooner the girls aren't even dancing anymore. the little princess can't decide what she wants to do.

while putting things away, i found this fabric that i got on sale for $3.50 a yard. i'm not sure if you can tell by the picture, but it's a muted black jacquard.

perfect for this quilt for bub's bed.

and the best part of the day was when uncle doug showed up with sissy's new (to her) car.

now she just needs to learn to drive it!

we are all so grateful!

Oh Julie, how wonderful it must be to be sealed to your family in the Temple. I can only dream and trust in the Lord's promises on that one. Todd and I were able to be sealed to two of his sons though, so that is a blessing.

Happy Sealing Day!
Your quilting is gorgeous and I love the patterns you used. Good luck with the driving lessons... it can be so stressful when they have to learn to drive.

You had a good day! (minus your DH not being there) :-) Congrats on your sealing, that's the best! I'm sure your DD was excited about the car, too.

Julie what is that quilt before your sister's car. I tried to enlarge it but couldn't. It looks so so interesting! Lovely things, all the pics.
