beanies anyone???
does anyone else have a husband who does stuff like this?
please. anyone?
so, here's the story...
we have a dear friend who is in need of (according to bob) a solution to the perspiration problem that becomes exasperated while wearing a helmet while riding their motorcycles in the middle of the desert. so he decided to make a beanie from the ever-popular sham wow's. he made two attempts, the first attempt didn't start out so good. i happened to be VERY busy that day and was reluctant to help him, until i saw him doing this...
(the poor guy, obviously needed some help.)
the final straw was when he walked into my sewing room and headed towards my machine!
after a few tries, a beanie was born!!!
craig...i hope it fits!

his heart was in the right place--right up until the bee line for the sewing machine!
That pic of him cracks me up!
I think he looks cute,LOL! Gotta love em!
Mine always ends up putting underwear on his head when he helps me fold. It was cute when we were first married...now 28 years later, not so much!
Hey!!! What a great idea!!
What a great idea! My husband rides and would really appericate this story!
Looks like a very creative beanie.
I enjoyed looking at your blog.
I am visiting from Just another Rainy Day. I enjoy looking at new blogs. It's fun to see how different everyone is. No blog is ever the same. Have a great day!
HI-larious! ONLY Shawn..always the helper and fixer to those in need;)
Well, you never know...he could be famous one day!
now if Shawn can only sew me a wonder bra that would make my boobs a size B!
SHAWN!!!!! YOUR A FREAK OF NATURE! AND WE LOVE U ALL THE MORE FOR IT!!!!
Alexx Summers!
I hopped over from a hop over from Red Geranium Cottage... too funny! My only question is... did he use a pen to write the "Sham WoW" on it? Cause from the little picture it looks like it was embroidered?... that is unless you have an embroidery machine and he knows how to use that too!
Bye the way... congrats on your Temple anniversary... our's is now 31 years! Manti, Utah Temple.
Love your blog...
