The Older They Get...

the harder it is to engage them in the traditional easter egg hunt
so this year, as promised (and masyn wouldn't let us forget it!)
we held a flashlight easter egg hunt at auntie's...

uncle played easter bunny and hid 100 or so eggs in the backyard at sundown and as soon as it was dark enough, we let them out, baskets in hand in search of the 'money filled' eggs {there are only a few)... }

{note to suz & self: we need to find a big golden egg and put a $20 in it. have abu hide it good and let the older ones at it. although there will have to be rules and a ref... no pushing, no tripping and no stealing!}

I enjoy having my sister and her family so close. love you guys!

No one is too old to look for eggs. An evening hunt would be fun.

I am going to have to steal this idea as our older nephews hated the traditional Easter egg hunt.
Hope you had a fabulous day!
