{some} of my MANY memories.
ding dongs in your lunch box, grandpa's hat, fishing and more fishing, driving to the desert in the camper {a lot}, being stopped by cows and bulls on the way to the desert and you trying to get the off the road, summertime, your garden, corn on the cob, always a beautifully kept lawn, football, lawrence welk, "tinkle my feet", mint chip ice cream, bbq, your pajamas, campho-penique...
as the days go by, i remember little things from my childhood that remind me of you and that molded who i am. i am grateful for the constant support you gave to mom, suz and i. i am grateful to have had my grandpa as i grew up. you were the best definition of "grandpa", thank you!
as i write this, i am sad that i didn't say it when i saw you last, i am sorry. to those who may have continued reading to this point, please don't have regrets, tell someone how you feel and don't assume they know. they may not.
i love you and i love the memories that i have of you.
i hope you found opa and are enjoying his company, i think the two of you will get along well!
lots of love,

Cute Julie. Very cute.
Lovely...and you are so right! Each time we would leave , phone or visiting, we'd tell each other, " I Love You."...it is still so comforting.
Aren't you lucky to have been left with so many fand memories? They make times much more bearable.
Sorry for your loss. I only got to know one of my Grandpas up until the 5th grade. It's good that you have so many special memories.
I agree, it's very important to let those you love know! It's never too late!
Grandpa are special and so are the grandchildren. As many memories as you have of Grandpa, think of all the memories he carried over the years of you. I am sure he is smiling. Praying the memories you have will ease the pain of your loss.
