never mind that the christmas decorations are still up, the trailer hasn't been cleaned from the new years trip, there is a TON of laundry to do, i still have a ton of projects to complete before baby comes next month...

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Yeah, yeah blabber blabber! Where is my pattern for that quilt?
So glad you got to do some "just for you" sewing! Quilting makes me happy too!
Soooo true!!!!
Boy do I ever agree with that!
you should always make time for the things we love that is how we stay happy.
I agree! (and it makes me feel better that you have your decorations still up, too lol)
I am the same way (although not about quilting), but sometimes I just need to work on my craft stuff. It calms me down and centers me in some way. I can totally relate!
XOXO

We are all so happy that quilting makes you happy! As your students, we benefit the most. Can't wait to get started on the new quilt. See you on friday, take a little time for you today and enjoy!
love mom
Good for you! I love it too!
I totally agree. Remember if mommy not happy no one is happy.
Have a great day!
I was just with my sewing group this morning and someone there was working on spools. Looks like a fun project. And talk about something that makes you happy...I was soooooooo happy to be out of the house and with my sewing friends after a week of sitting home with the foot up!
Beautiful! Love the quilting too!
I love spool quilts but have never made one - hmmmm, maybe in 2010. Glad you found some sewing time - it's good for the soul and makes a girl happy :).

Julie this is just what I did with my spool quilt. I am going to do a little tutorial of mine later this week.
