and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. the stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that st. nicholas soon would be there...the cookies and milk are placed on the table, the reindeer food is on the lawn, the kids are dressed in their new christmas jammies and the last we checked, santa was in south dakota.
