Quilt Along Block {three}

here's block three of the comfort & joy quilt along!

i made a couple changes. {surprise, surprise}

i used the snowman for a book called window quilts by ginger cookie company

and i sewed my flag rather than appliqueing it. i cut 1 3/4" x 20" strips (three red & two beige) and sewed the strips together with a wavy seam. then trim it to 6 1/2" x 18 1/2" and applique the square and stars to it.
