i'm having a hard time getting into the christmas {spirit} and it's bothering me...
i am happy to have come across this blog post by vicki at the city cradle.

she filled these mason jars up with christmas goodies and let the waves wash them away.
what a fantastic idea...letting someone find christmas washed up on shore.
i would love to find her jar on a nearby beach, wouldn't you.
sounds like a PERFECT family home evening and a perfect way to find that christmas spirit that seems to be missing.

Those are beautiful! Maybe you're having a hard time getting into the spirit 'cause it's TOO EARLY LOL! Let's get the turkey consumed -- THEN we can think about it!!!
It's actually refreshing to know that it doesn't matter how talented& cute you are....funky moods still come and do go again....the spirit will appear probably in those sweet faces around you....

That is a neat idea, love it.
I find hearing the word, I want, puts me in a bad mood, lol. My kids were taught that christmas was for giving, not wanting, but they never caught on;)
