Spools Quilt

every once in awhile i quilt a customers quilt that i would really like to keep.

this was definetly one of those quilts!
there is something aout the "old" brushed cottons, soft and muted, and full of memories.
friday night quilt class is starting this quilt in january and i think i'll have to do my best to re-create this.

to my customers, thanks for giving me the opportunity to quilt your beautiful quilts and thanks for inspiring me.

I agree I think I would have a hard time giving it back. Very nice.

I can understand why you would want to keep that one. Nice work by both parties. Happy New Year.

I made a small wallhanging last Christmas with the spools. It was so much fun. I would love to do a fullsize one sometime. When you quilt for someone else...is that machine quilting?

I love the muted tone to it, as you said! And your quilting is fantastic on it!

WOW, what a wonderful quilt. I think it would be hard for me to give that one up as well. What a talent you have. Have a great New Years.

What pattern is this? It is not the standard spool block.

It is beautiful, and I see you had to try it on your bed.
