What do you do

when your thermometer reads this???

YIKES!!!
it's too hot to run the 'ol gammill so i've moved my good 'ol bernina into the kitchen
(where there's air conditioning)
and decided to catch up on my joseph smith block of the month quilt.
there's nothing worse than being behind when your the teacher!!!

i tackled the dreaded stars! i like how they turned out, i only cut off a few points :)
and who says log cabin blocks are easy? ummm, not me.
make sure you are sewing with a "scant" 1/4 inch. i'm just sayin'

even my darling kitty is hot!
she's found refuge in front of the air conditioner.

i sure am looking forward to fall weather!!!

LOVE the pictures. The blocks look so good sewn together. Makes me excited!! I hope the miserable weather is slowing down the naughty antics of that adorable kitty.

Awww, look at that poor little kitty! A woman in your delicate condition shouldn't be in that heat. You need to move back here where it's cooler!!!
