Memorial Weekend

was wonderful.
sissy came home for the weekend.



the {big} kids

danced, swam, tanned



bbq'd, laughed, wrestled,

and had a great time together.
shawn and i enjoyed watching them all together.

Comfort and Joy Block {four}

here's block {four}
of the comfort and joy quilt

 

we are quilting along with fat quartes quilt shop.
i paper pieced the 6" star. i do love to paper piece.
i also changed the stocking {surprise, surprise}
i'm really liking the quilt. hope you are too!

Jane's Baskets

was this month's monday's best class
it's an old unpublished pattern by cheri


i made cheesecake in a jar for the ladies.
topped with glazed raspberries and mint it was a simple, yummy treat

 

 

 

 

and in true {jane's basket} style
i made everyone their own basket and put them in my basket that looks just like jane's!
